Restore + Renew: Living Your Yoga Series

*We will be using Judith Lasater's Living Your Yoga as a guide for our Restore + Renew practices January - May 2018.  This is my favorite text on yoga, delving into how our yoga practice can inform our relationship with ourselves, others, and the world.  For this class, the theme will be Attachment, Aversion, and Suffering, which corresponds with pgs. 83-94 of the book.  You may still attend class if you haven't read in advance, but you'll get more out of the practice having read it!  

Step into a candlelit studio filled with tranquil tunes and ease into a blend of yin and restorative postures supported by props in order to soothe the nervous system and enter into deep relaxation. Each class will include a blend of breath work, yin and restorative poses, and end with yoga nidra, which means “sleep of the yogi”:  a guided supine relaxation (relaxing on your back).
